Peter Torsson, CFA

Peter Torsson is the Managing Director for Petrol Protect, providing commodity budget solutions to municipal and corporate entities across the nation. Mr. Torsson has analyzed, structured, monitored, negotiated and executed derivative contracts totaling over $15BB.
Prior to Petrol Protect, Mr. Torsson was the Managing Director on the CEDAR Finance project, a repurchase agreement arbitrage conduit. Mr. Torsson was specifically in charge of structuring and executing derivative solutions, creating the trading platform, creating internal trading programs, negotiating counterparty contracts and marketing the program to clients. Prior to the CEDAR Finance project, Mr. Torsson worked as a derivative consultant focusing on client education, contract execution and monitoring regarding municipal interest rate swap transactions.
Mr. Torsson graduated Summa Cume Laude from St. Cloud State University in 2001 where he also attended on a Division 1 Hockey Scholarship. At St. Cloud, Mr. Torsson was awarded the All American Scholar designation twice, was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma in 2001 and won the National Student of the Day Award and the Phi Kappa Phi High Scholastic Achievement Award to name a few. In 2006, Mr. Torsson became a Chartered Financial Analyst as designated by the CFA Institute.

Sam Ritter was the Co-founder and Managing Director for GasLimit. GasLimit focuses on the integration of retail commodity markets and technology by enabling users to proactively manage price risk surrounding retail priced fuels such as unleaded and diesel and other energy related products. Sam was featured on CNBC's "Street Signs" discussing GasLimit's technology and operational strategy as it relates to the rising cost of energy in November of 2007.
Prior to founding GasLimit, Sam served as Senior Director for Supply and Trading at a retail energy marketing company serving 250,000 residential and small commercial customers in the Northeast United States with approximately $600 million in annual revenue. He was responsible for implementing risk reporting and metrics, and led the incorporation of retail-oriented fixed price and price protection programs into the company's portfolio of product offerings.
Prior to Econnergy, Sam earned a Masters Degree in Operations Research Engineering from Columbia University in New York City. His studies focused on energy markets, organizational processes and financial risk management.

Mr. Horowitz is a seasoned sales executive with extensive experience in the financial services, energy and telecom sectors. Although focused primarily on Sales and Marketing, Mr. Horowitz's operational management background affords him a unique perspective and insight on product development and positioning.
Mr. Horowitz obtained his undergraduate degree from University of Maryland and a Masters of Science from Pace University.

Ben Silver

Mr. Silver previously worked as a defeasance consultant for Reliable Defeasance, LLC in 2007. His responsibilities included marketing, consulting and analysis for commercial real estate loan defeasances. Mr. Silver brought over $200 million in conduit loans to the firm in need of defeasance. Mr. Silver currently serves as Vice President of Petrol Protect. He is responsible for business development as well as analyzing, structuring, negotiating and monitoring derivative contracts for Petrol Protect's price protection programs.
Mr. Silver graduated with distinction from Indiana University with a bachelor degree in management.
